LoanMax Sponsors Youth Education Program In Wichita, Kansas

Wichita, Kansas – July 16, 2008 – To further our ongoing dedication to financial education in communities where we operate, LoanMax is proud to sponsor the Youth Educational Empowerment Program (YEEP) in Wichita, Kansas. The YEEP program was developed by Marquis Murphy to empower the youth of Wichita with financial education that they may not receive in the average high school curriculum. Mr. Murphy is granted permission by administrators and faculty to go into local high schools and teach his program to students. Under his standards, students should graduate with knowledge in four areas: income, money management, spending and credit, and savings and investment. Learning to manage your money can yield positive life lessons too, Murphy says. "It's a character thing. To save, it takes discipline. To be credit-worthy, it takes integrity. We're dealing with the whole person."
