LoanMax Supports Alexandria’s Dollarwise Financial Education Program

Alexandria, Virginia – October 15, 2008 – LoanMax is proud to sponsor the DOLLARWI$E Financial Literacy Program in Alexandria, VA. The purpose of this program is to educate the residents of Alexandria on general financial literacy, to increase the savings rate among low to moderate income residents and to teach them how to wisely use short term credit. The program includes free presentations of the FDIC’s MoneySmart program, discussions with representatives of local financial institutions, and a partnership with a local university. LoanMax is pleased to be one of the first local businesses to participate in this important program benefiting the citizens of Alexandria.
